1. Final papers uploading and sending
Please submit the files belonging to your camera-ready paper using the link of Update File from your EasyChair author account. Follow the instructions for uploading and sending the email at isica2017@easychair.org:
(a) Please follow strictly the author instructions of Springer-Verlag when preparing the final version, Papers do not use the posted template will be returned:

(b) The page limit of accepted papers should not be less than 10 pages and no more than 15 pages, while additional two pages are allowed by paying extra page charges for 100 USD each page.
(c) Final papers for sending email to us need include two files: Firstly, either a zipped file containing all your LaTeX sources or a Word file. Please name the main file with main.tex if using latex sources. Secondly, PDF version of your final camera-ready paper.

2. The Springer CCIS copyright form
The Springer copyright forms can be downloaded from ftp://ftp.springernature.com/cs-proceeding/ccis/copyrightccis_CH.pdf. Some information required to fill in the copyright form is given as follows:
(a) Title of the Book or Conference Name: Intelligence Computation and Applications (ISICA 2017)
(b) Volume Editor(s): Kangshun Li, Zhangxing Chen, Yong Liu
(c) Title of the Contribution: Here you enter the title of your paper
(d) Author(s) Name(s): Name of all authors goes here
(e) Signature of Corresponding Author: Please print the copyright form, sign it, and then scan it.
(f) Only authors employed directly by the EU tick the particular box in the end of copyright. If you just work in a country in the EU, you do not need to tick that box. Some rule applies to the box for US Government employees.
It is sufficient for one of the authors to sign the copyright form. You can scan the form into PDF or any other standard image format. Please email at isica2017@easychair.org include a signed copyright form and the final paper in zip file to us as soon as possible.

3. Must use the correct last name and first name
We have realized that some authors misused their last name and first name when submitting their papers. Please note that your last name is the family name and we must have your correct use of last name and first name in order to have your paper indexed correctly. We all need to index our papers using last name. You do not want to index your papers using your first name.
注意： 许多中文的投稿把名和姓写反了，都必须修改过来，英文的 Last name (family name) = 姓。
4. Deadline for final paper submission: November 01, 2017
This is because Springer will need enough time to produce the conference proceedings and USB proceedings. So, please make sure to upload the final paper source files and pay the conference registration before November 01, 2017.
5. Oral or poster?
Please indicate your preference of oral or poster at the time of final paper submission. We will try to accommodate your request and will inform you later using email when we have the draft of conference program ready. We are working on it now and hopefully to have it ready by the end of the month.
6. Registration information
The deadline for author registration is November 01, 2017. One of the authors of each paper must register and pay the registration fee before the deadline in order to have your paper included in the conference proceedings. Please click on the "Registration" tab to register.
7. Regarding best paper awards
Best student paper awards require nomination from the student's advisor, by sending an email to likangshun@sina.com with the following details:
(a) Paper ID number and paper title
(b) List of authors with the student author identified (must also be the first author of the paper to qualify)
(c) A 3-5 sentences description of why this paper should be considered for best student paper award
Award finalists will be chosen by the Award Committee. On the other hand, ISICA 2017 Program Committee will select from accepted papers for best paper award nomination. Each best paper award comes with 300 USD and each best student paper award comes with 100 USD. We plan to give three awards in each category.
8. How to get a visa
We recommend that you apply to a tourist visa to China. It is easier and simpler, which does not require any invitation letters besides the airline ticket info and hotel reservation. However, you can also apply for a business visa, which will require an invitation letter and which is not guaranteed to get. If you need an invitation letter, please send an email to likangshun@sina.com with the following info:
(a) Subject of your email: Invitation letter request from Your_last_name/Your_first_name
(b) Your full name
(c) Your date of birth and country of citizenship
(d) Your passport number
