The 9th International Symposium on Intelligence Computation and Applications 2017 (ISICA2017) to be held on November 18-19, 2017 in Guangzhou, China, will serve as a forum to present current work by researchers and software developers from around the world as well as to highlight activities in the Intelligence Computation and Applications area. It aims to bring together research scientists, application pioneers, and software developers to discuss problems and solutions and to identify new issues in this area. The conference will emphasize both design and analysis of Intelligence algorithms, tools, platforms, and their scientific, engineering, medical and industrial applications. Sponsored by the China University of Geosciences (CUG), ISICA has successfully held seven times since 2005, and presented eight proceedings, including three volume of Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) by Springer and three books by China University of Geosciences Press. All papers included in the volumes of CCIS have been indexed by both EI and ISTP, and the papers included in the three books are indexed by ISTP. Extended versions of some selected papers will be recommended to publish in several SCI-indexed and EI-indexed journals.
Post-proceedings of presented and refereed papers will be published with Springer as a volume of CCIS ( http://www.springer.com/series/7899). CCIS has been indexed by both EI and ISTP according the previous ISICA proceedings index results. All papers should be in PDF format, and submitted electronically through the conference website. The manuscripts should be written in English, and follow the CCIS format provided at http://www.springer.com/computer?SGWID=0-146-6-466612-0 on Springer website. Papers are limited to 10 to 15 pages in the LNCS/CCIS one-column page format. All accepted papers must meet the strict requirements imposed by the publisher before final submission.
